Freezer is really simple to use. Here are a few steps to use it :

1. Unzip file (if you haven’t downloaded it yet, click here) and run freezer.

2. Start your browser, and set the proxy settings to localhost on port 80 and 8800 for the new version 1.3. To know how to do this click here : http://support.mozilla.com/en/kb/Options_window . To toggle the proxy on off faster, you can download FoxyProxy.

3. Surf on deezer or jiwa, when you’re listening to a music, a dialog box will show up to save the song which is to be played. You can download as many songs as you want at the same time. (You’re not forced to listen the entire song to download)

Requirements:

  • iTunes 8.2 installed
  • PwnageTool 3.0 installed (download here or check out my previous post for more download links) and/or redsn0w (check out my previous post for more download links)
  • Firmware 3.0.0 (3G): iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw. Remember not to download it by Safari

(Advanced)

  • Jailbreak iPhone on Os 3.0 (pick either of two options):
    • Launch and choose iPhone 3G > Leave everything as default (I expand root partition to 812MB for further use) > Choose NO when prompt > Restore in iTunes > Wait and be patient until it’s completely done
    • Lauch iTunes > Update iPhone to Apple Os 3.0 > Launch redsn0w > Select Apple Os 3.0 > Cydia checked > Follow instructions until done
  • Make sure everything went well (iPhone Os 3.0, baseband 04.26.08, Cydia, 3G off or no sim)
  • Launch Cydia > Manage > Sources > Add repo666.ultrasn0w.com > Select repo666.ultrasn0w.com > Install ultrasn0w
  • Back to Home screen > Power off > Power on > Your phone should be unlocked

Note:

  • There is kinda compatible issue with the audio/video codec library, so add packages in pwnTool with caution.
  • My iPhone 3G was on 2.2.1 with bootloader 05.09

Shortcut keys are always my favorite things in OS. They make things done quicker, more geeky, and … magical. :D

Ctrl+Shift+N (in Explorer) – New Folder

Win+D – Show Desktop
